Continuation in the sport
Continuation in the sport is extremely simple. If you have started with a tandem jump you can now do the solo static line course. After your first solo static line jump you enter into a progression system which soon leads to freefall. You may only need to do 5 static line jumps to be eligible for your first freefall jump.
Once onto freefall our instructors will guide you through progressively longer delays (3 seconds, 5 seconds, then 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 seconds) which give you the opportunity to master various solo freefall skills. These start off with basic control and then go through turns, backloops, tracking across the sky, exiting the aircraft in different ways and much much more. You will also be taught how to fly a ram-air parachute, allowing you to enjoy the canopy flight as well as the freefall. The sport of skydiving is all about having fun in the sky in as safe an environment as possible.

When you have mastered solo freefall we are able to provide coaching and an environment where you can continue to practice and learn all about this spectacular sport. If you wish to get a taste of what the sport has to offer, have a surf around the links section on this website. You are also welcome to come along and see we have to offer.
Skydive Strathallan offers low cost jump prices since it is a club run by members. After your first jump, additional jump costs are much reduced as you require a much smaller amount of training per jump – see the price list.
